Beat the Blitz is a virtual reality football game featuring former NFL MVP Quarterback  and Gatorade partner Peyton Manning.

The game was conceived with the purpose of entertaining and educating young fans about the impact dehydration has on their game. Through physical challenges, athletes work to complete levels of throwing challenges whilst avoiding oncoming defensive players.

Beat the Blitz was directed by Will Adams and developed by The Mill's Emerging Technology team for the HTC Vive and Oculus headsets. Developed in Unity, the team worked meticulously to create every aspect of the game from the education and stadium environments, graphics and gameplay assets, including Peyton Manning himself who was volumetrically captured on the Microsoft Holostage.

The experience features original score by Greighwolfe and Pete Davis of SixtyFour Music.

The Mill teamed up with Gatorade, OMD, and VML to create the experience.
